EXAMs

Dance exams are about more than just showcasing dance skills, they are a valuable opportunity for personal growth, discipline, and self-expression. These experiences often lay the groundwork for future success, helping students develop memory, balance, technique, and creativity. The emphasis on grooming and presentation further builds confidence and professionalism.

Exams also nurture a strong sense of community. Students learn the importance of encouragement and kindness, while forming new friendships and developing social awareness in a supportive environment. Through this process, they come to understand that mistakes are part of learning and growth.

These exams are compulsory for all students as part of our curriculum.

Upon completion, every student will receive a marked report card and a engraved medallion and will be presented on our Showcase evening. 🏆 The student with the highest marks in each class will be awarded a special plaque trophy.

Uniform & Grooming

TINY / JUNIOR / SUBBIE  BALLET UNIFORM

Uniform Colour: Deep Purple
Deep Purple Leotard, Deep Purple Wrap Skirt, Ballet Shoes (leather Split sole), Salmon Pink Tights
Hair: Low Bun Middle Part, slick back with gel or hairspray. Use Purple flowers or bow around the bun.

INTER & SENIOR BALLET UNIFORM

Uniform Colour: Black
Black Leotard, Black Skirt, Ballet Shoes (leather Split sole), Foot Thongs, Salmon Pink Convertible Tights.
Hair: Low Bun Middle Part, slick back with gel or hairspray. Use Purple flowers or bow around the bun.

JAZZ & TAP UNIFORM - ALL AGES

Uniform Colour: Black
Black Leotard, Black Dance Shorts, Stummer Studio Tshirt, Tan Tights, Tan Jazz Shoes, Tan Tap Shoes.

MUSICAL THEATRE & HIP HOP UNIFORM - ALL AGES

Uniform Colour: Black
Stummer Studio Tshirt, Black Dance Shorts, Tan Tights, Jazz Shoes (Musical Theatre), White Runners (Hip Hop)
